I love art
When I began painting portraits over 25 years ago, I had no idea so many lives would be touched in such a positive way. Most of my paintings are for a family who want a unique, hand painted portrait of someone they love. I am thrilled when I hear that a painting I did many years ago still brings that family joy every time they look at it.
Faith Sets me Free
Most religions give you lots of rules and say if you don’t obey all the rules, God will not like you. One religion is different. It says you must do one thing for God to like you. It’s easy to do and once you do it, God will like you forever. That’s the religion for me.
An “impossible” Family
I have 12 children. My first wife and I had 3 children before she passed away. I then married my wife Betsy and we have 6 children together and adopted three more. Most people ask – how do you do it? Well… I don’t really know, but we don’t get much sleep. What some would call an “impossible family,” brings us abundant joy. Each child is a gift and a blessing.
Helping
Children At Risk
The villages in Northern Thailand are one of the most dangerous places for children to live. Betsy and I are a part of helping the Faithful Heart Foundation who rescue children at risk of being kidnapped and sold. We have lived in Thailand for several summers and are passionate about helping these kids get rescued.
